But I truly love all the characters in this story. It’s easy to say I admire Charlotte’s cunning and the obscene color combinations of her wardrobe. The Art of Theft brings me back to all the reasons I love the Lady Sherlock series.

Also, while diversity and inclusiveness is always appreciated, just changing main characters into bisexuals after three books does a disservice to everyone.and again, just lazy.It’s been a while since I’ve read the Lady Sherlock series, but I’m back! The Art of Theft reminded me why I love the series so much. The author is getting progressively lazy in that vital aspect. In an exceptional mystery, we should get to see and hear everything Sherlock does and then be impressed because she saw deeper or put it all together in an un-obvious way. If the problem can be solved by anyone with all of the general information, then Sherlock is not needed. Simply omitting facts or parts of conversations and events from the reader does not make a legit 'mystery' novel. :-) I am a fan of the Lady Sherlock books, but this is definitely my least favorite. It is mentioned 8-10 times in this one! Now it was worth a smile (not a laugh) in the first book, but at this point it's really annoying and just disrespectful to the reader. The repetition of this line/joke gets worse with each book. Enough with the 'Maximum Tolerable Chins' Already!
